The Royal Southern Yacht Club instructed our Authorised Silver Partner, ASG, to enhance their EPoS to uphold the Club's high standard for customer service.
Nestled in a small fishing town between Norfolk and Suffolk, Ocean Room is a venue that offers a unique experience for its customers. The establishment has a beautiful sun-drenched terrace for daytime use and a decadently decorated circular indoor events space that attracts significant footfall both day and night.
Our Authorised ICRTouch Silver Partner, Eastern Cash Registers, was tasked to support the venue by implementing new technology to help them handle the footfall of their daytime sittings and event nights at full capacity.
After decades of using the same EPoS system, Ocean Room were looking for an updated, upgraded solution to help them improve efficiency. Being able to keep up with the speed of service at the busy bar, as well as handling at-table ordering swiftly and simply was a key requirement.
Our Authorised ICRTouch Partner, Eastern Cash Registers, installed a number of intuitive TouchPoint touch screen till systems to give the 25+ staff a basis for their daily duties. All terminals are integrated with Dojo card machines to ensure fast payments and an efficient customer experience.
The team are further supported by two hand-held devices running PocketTouch, which allow them to have quick access to menu allergen, stock, promotional and table information in the palm of their hands. Not only is the staff experience better, but the customer experience is also improved thanks to staff being able to save time and focus on providing incredible service.
To further enhance the ease of managing the outdoor terrace, Ocean Room has implemented a bespoke ByTable app to run throughout the busy days. Customers are able to view the menu and place orders from their own devices, at the table. During evening events, ByTable is then utilised to provide guests a quick way to order food and drinks, without needing to get up from their tables and miss any of the action on stage.
Everything is managed efficiently within the back-office cloud-based TouchOffice Web business management software.
Thanks to the installation of intuitive software solutions and efficient hardware, the Ocean Rooms team has been able to significantly increase productivity, all while providing an improved customer experience.
