Denbies Wine Estate chooses ICRTouch for their Hospitality EPoS Solution

Denbies Wine Estate is an award winning vineyard, first planted back in 1986 has now grown to one of the largest wine growers in the UK, boasting several international awards across several of their wine varieties.

 A family run business, Denbies is three times the size of any other vineyard in the country. They offer Vineyard Tours, Wine Tasting as well as having a restaurant and café on site and have been known to welcome members of the Royal family to the estate over the years.

The challenge

Denbies had a very old EPROM based system that while it had served them very well, was both limited in functionality and reaching the end of it’s life with regular errors and faults. The customer needed a reliable EPoS system, that does all the hospitality essentials, to increase sales and maintain customer service. The system needed to be able to handle both a self service area and restaurant environment, one needing fast transactions and the other storing transactions, splitting bills and covering full restaurant functionality.

The solution

Feature-rich TouchPoint EPoS software was used on new, reliable and fast VEPoS 660s and combined with TouchOffice to collate all the sales and stock data. The new system was much faster than the old system and much easier to use, with easily adaptable screens, buttons, colours, products, and prices; this allows for quicker transactions, minimal staff training and increased customer satisfaction as their order can be processed faster. The system has reduced customer queuing and waiting time which has driven up sales. They also now have the ability to analyse sales data and make better business decisions because of this. Founded in 1888, South Shields Football Club (SSFC) is a professional club located in Tyne and Wear, currently competing in the National League North. The football stadium has a capacity to host 4,000 fans and offers a range of services, including hospitality boxes, bars, food kiosks and a merchandise store.
