The National Pub and Bar Awards has returned, now for its eighth year, showcasing the finest pubs and bars in the UK. The award ceremony recently revealed the best venues within 94 counties, as well as the overall winner of ‘National Pub & Bar of the Year’.

Congratulations to this year’s overall winner, taking home the National Pub & Bar Of The Year Award, The George Inn. In the heart of Somerset, The George Inn is one of Britain’s oldest taverns dating back to 1397! ICRTouch is proud to become the Technology Partner to Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), a leading consumer organisation in the UK, founded by real ale enthusiasts in 1971. CAMRA runs a variety of campaigns to promote pubs, clubs, beer and cider to support the long-term sustainability of the hospitality industry.
The Government has announced a temporary reduction in the standard VAT rate of 20% to only 5% on certain children's meals, family attraction tickets and children's entertainment admissions between 25th June and 1st September 2026. The measure, introduced through HMRC's Revenue & Customs Brief 5 (2026), aims to help families manage the cost of summer activities while encouraging spending across the hospitality and leisure sectors.
