The Woodmans Arms is a popular pub located in the South of England, on the picturesque Isle of Wight. Alongside a great pub and dining experience, the venue also frequently hosts events for its customers and gets involved with local activities.

The Woodmans Arms quickly gained popularity within the local community due to its excellent service and fresh food. The brief - The importance of solutions that add value

Opened in 2017 by owners Harry and Ronnie, the pub provides excellent service combined with delicious food, due to Harry’s previous bar management experience and Ronnie’s culinary expertise. The Woodmans Arms takes pride in its consistency by offering fresh food and using local ingredients, a combination of which has resulted in the pub’s growing popularity.

The pub initially operated with a pen and paper order taking system, which often resulted in confusing order taking, miscommunication between front of house and kitchen teams, and overall slower service. The COVID pandemic and cost of living crisis has significantly impacted the hospitality industry, with the majority of pubs opting for digital solutions that empower staff, streamline operations and skyrocket revenue.

In order to effectively tackle the pub’s operational challenges, Harry and Ronnie decided to follow suit, and reached out to their local Authorised ICRTouch Partner,  ICR Systems, to see how they could streamline their operations and introduce more seamless processes that not only drive more revenue, but improve customer experience at the same time.

    All order and sales information is automatically fed into TouchOffice Web, allowing Harry and Ronnie to delve into 200+ reports and make informed decisions for their business.
