La Taverne offers a versatile menu and caters for a diverse range of customers. Menu items and prices undergo frequent changes to ensure freshness and variety, meaning regular updating of menus was a time consuming task. The team wanted help to implement a solution that would speed up this process and keep both the website and digital signage updated efficiently.

Additionally, the restaurant team wanted to introduce an online booking system to allow customers to plan their reservations at their own convenience. Having a reliable booking system would provide a clear overview of customer footfall, avoid double bookings, and empower staff to make necessary adjustments or cancellations to reservations.

  • TouchReservation was effortlessly installed by the CheckOut Jersey team to provide La Taverne with an intuitive, easy to use digital booking system. The restaurant management team now has a clear overview of footfall, customer details and reservations.

    In order to allow the restaurant to make full use of TouchMenu, CheckOut Jersey built a website which accepts and updates from an automation server. The server requests TouchMenu updates every morning and publishes these online, allowing the restaurant to effortlessly update menus across every platform instantly.

    The result - improved efficiency

    The La Taverne management team is now able to control the whole restaurant from any mobile device, accessing reservations, updating menus and managing content online. Menus can be updated through TouchOffice Web, which now update on all digital signage and auto populate to the website too. Preparing for reservations has become significantly more streamlined, with staff gaining immediate access to all customer information for any necessary amendments or cancellations.

    Having integrated the wider ICRTouch ecosystem, La Taverne Restaurant is now able to offer a more reliable service. The ability to modify and refresh menus, coupled with access to customer information via the booking system, means La Tavern has significantly increased its operational efficiency.
