ICRTouch completes first install in the USA

As part of the ongoing business expansion, we’re super excited to announce that ICRTouch has now officially registered a legal entity in the USA and completed our first installation across the pond.

The US headquarters is located in Florida – expanding from the sunshine isle to the sunshine state was a no-brainer! We’ve been working with Elavon to provide a new payment solution integration for the USA and Canada, which has enabled us to successfully complete our first TouchPoint install in America.

USA Install Elavon

New Elavon integration

The most recent EFT integration with Elavon is the latest in a number of updates that we’ve been making to develop our software ecosystem for the North American market. The most prevalent of these updates is dual taxation functionality which allows businesses to set multiple tax levels within TouchPoint, for example, both a Federal and State tax.

Elavon’s payment provider integration is now available for implementation across the United States of America and Canada.

USA Install RV SiteFirst installation in North America

One of our Authorised Partners has recently completed the first install of ICRTouch software in the USA. A large RV and glamping resort in Maine, the business is now utilising our flagship software, TouchPoint, across more than 20 till terminals.

The system has already processed $46,000 worth of transactions and we can see that the busiest time of day for them is between 12-1pm. We’re excited to see our first successful installation and are looking forward to working with the end-user business to expand the implementation across more sites throughout the country. Having seen the benefits of ICRTouch software solutions, they are already considering the ByTable platform to further enhance their guest experiences.

A deferred date has been set for the implementation of the new Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act. On 1st October 2024 it is proposed that this Act will make it unlawful for employers to withhold gratuities from their workers and ensure that tips are allocated fairly amongst all staff, including those on zero-hour contracts. Here’s what the new legislation means for the hospitality industry and how it will impact operations.
With hundreds of products and thousands of transactions each day, it can be challenging to identify trends and thoroughly analyse data on how your hospitality business is performing. Without this knowledge, it’s difficult to make intelligent business decisions, which is why a robust management system like TouchOffice Web is a vital asset. It provides a bird’s eye view of operations to ensure you’re managing resources as efficiently as possible heading into the busy summer season.
Save time and money this summer, by facilitating the management of your beer gardens with at-table ordering.
