The Sophie’s Legacy charity was created in memory of Sophie Fairall, a remarkable young girl who sadly lost her battle with cancer back in 2021. She touched so many lives and, whilst in hospital, wrote a bucket list of wishes that she wanted to be carried out on her behalf. The aim of this list was to improve conditions for children and their families during stays in hospitals.

Every year, the Child of Wight Awards celebrate the courage, bravery and achievements of children across the Isle of Wight.
