ICRTouch helps Team IOW on the road to the International Island Games

We’re proud to continue our long-standing support of Team IOW as they prepare to compete at the 2025 International Island Games, taking place this July (12th-15th) in the Orkney Islands.

This year, 99 of the Isle of Wight’s top athletes will travel over 700 miles, on a 17-hour coach journey, to represent the Isle of Wight in a wide range of sports.

In addition to the significant ongoing sponsorship, ICRTouch has donated an additional £5,000 this year to support the Team’s journey, helping ensure that financial barriers don’t prevent any athlete from taking part. Every team member in full-time education received £200 from this fund to ease the cost of attending the Games, which can reach nearly £1,000 per person.

“Supporting charities and good causes within our community has always been a key part of the ICRTouch culture,” said our CEO, Colin Ringer. “We’re delighted to help these young athletes seize this opportunity and wish them every success in Orkney.”

With the backing of ICRTouch, other local businesses and the wider community, Team IOW is ready to make the Island proud.
