Team IOW returns with 16 medals from Orkney Island Games

With the support of ICRTouch, 99 athletes embarked on a journey to Orkney, in order to represent the Isle of Wight in the 2025 International Island Games.

Over the course of the 5 days, athletes from the Isle of Wight competed in a variety of sports against 23 other islands from across the world.

Team IOW placed 7th in the competition, bringing home an impressive 6 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals and we’re incredibly proud of their performance.

Congratulations to all the participating athletes!
