It’s time to make sure that your EPoS system is up to the test of increased Jubilee weekend footfall.
As confirmed in Parliament, pubs, clubs and bars have been granted extended opening hours from the normal 11pm to 1am on Thursday 2nd, Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June. In celebration of HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the extension applies not only to alcohol sales, but also to the provision of regulated entertainment and late-night refreshment, but only where there is also the sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises.

Declaring potential allergens within the ingredients of your food items, at the point of sale as well as on individual packaging, became a legal requirement back in 2014. There are 14 major allergens, all of which must be declared, as they can lead to potentially life threatening allergic reactions if consumed.
As we head into 2025, the hospitality industry can expect yet another challenging year, due to the government’s latest budget plans. The ‘New year new me’ idiom will likely be considered within countless businesses’ operations, with many being forced to undergo significant structural changes in order to keep operational costs to a minimum.
We are thrilled to announce ICRTouch’s sponsorship of the annual Pub and Bar Awards for the third consecutive year!
Organised by the Pub & Bar Magazine team, the event celebrates the finest pubs from across the UK, recognising 94 county winners, with one final winner above all to claim the “National Pub and Bar of the Year” titl
