Growing restaurant chain Casa Brasil expand with Tills 4 Change and ICRTouch

At the start of 2013 David Hall embarked on bringing a new dining experience to Southampton and launched his first Casa Brasil all you can eat Brazilian Rodizio.

The challenge

The centuries-old concept comes from the Southern Brazilian high plains where cooking spit-roasted large portions of beef, pork, lamb and poultry over the glowing coals of open fire pits, preserves the meats’ natural juices and rich flavours. Over time brick grills replaced pit fires and the Churrascaria, became the gathering place, for feasting and friendship. Soon it was to be Samba time at Casa Brasil, Southampton, with unlimited continuous table side service of succulent meats made the Gaucho Way at a fixed price and David called upon the services of Tills 4 Change, to implement a reliable EPoS system to ensure smooth service.

Casa Brasil needed an EPoS solution that was not only easy and intuitive for their staff to use but offered all the features needed to operate an All You Can Eat Rodizio. The solution also needed to be scalable to grow with the business as it expanded.

Marc Brown and the team at Tills 4 Change have worked closely with David, implementing ICRTouch TouchPoint on hardware throughout the restaurants, along with providing training and support. The concept has grown from strength to strength and was soon followed by sites in Bournemouth and Port Solent, Portsmouth.

As ICRTouch has grown the Casa Brasil brand has grown, and in 2015 Tills 4 Change implemented a site-wide loyalty card scheme using ICRTouch’s TouchLoyalty reporting back to a central server in Southampton. The Management team on a daily basis also use TouchOfficeWeb to review real-time site sales, make programme changes and interrogate historical sales data. With ICRTouch products being fully established in the company’s operations, plans are now in place for the next two sites and expansion of Casa Brasil, with the assistance of Tills 4 Change.
