Over £3,000 raised for local charity Daisy Chains IW

Last year we implemented a charge for software development feature requests from our Partner Network, which is not just a way for us to streamline our processes, but also means we’re able to raise funds from those requests for local charities.

The income generated so far, combined with advertising income from our quarterly Partner magazine, has been donated to the dedicated team at Daisy Chains IW this week.

“The past couple of years have been difficult for all charities having had to re-think our usual fundraising efforts as a result of the pandemic. We really appreciate the generosity of local individuals and businesses, and this wonderful donation from ICRTouch will go a long way to helping us provide assistance to more families.” Mandy Fuller & Kelly Lawrence, Daisy Chains IW Fundraising Managers

A small, Island-based charity founded in 2012, Daisy Chains IW is dedicated to helping children and their families through very difficult times. They support children who have been diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses and long term health conditions or disabilities, with a focus on supporting the travel needs of families who need to access care, equipment and therapies off the Island.

The charity also helps families of premature babies when their poorly newborn has been transferred to a mainland unit. With the help of the community nurses and Neonatal nurses, they are able to work quickly to provide funding where it is needed for cross-Solent ferry travel and accommodation, as well as equipment and therapy.

Here at ICRTouch we’re dedicated to supporting as many great, local causes as we can and are proud to be able to support the work that Daisy Chains IW carry out for families in need.
