DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal Donation

Like many others, we’ve been shocked and saddened by the events that are currently unfolding in Ukraine.

The ongoing Russian invasion has already forced at least 2million people to flee their homes, leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones while only taking the items they are able to carry.

ICRTouch DEC Ukraine donation

It is expected that 18million people will be affected by the conflict, with 4million people expected to be displaced as a result of the conflict. Homes have been destroyed and critical infrastructure such as health facilities, water supplies and schools have been damaged.

“Aid and support is desperately needed and this week, we’ve made a donation of £20,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.” – Colin Ringer, ICRTouch CEO

These much-needed funds will go directly towards supporting work in Ukraine and its neighbouring countries, meeting the immediate needs of refugees by providing food, water, health assistance, protection and trauma care.

In such times of need we call on other businesses to do what they can to support the efforts of the DEC. Any donations are sincerely appreciated, helping their mission to save, protect and rebuild lives through effective humanitarian response.

The thoughts and hearts of all of us here at ICRTouch are with the people of Ukraine.
