The Child of Wight Awards 2024 took place on Friday 6th September at Tapnell Farm, one of the Isle of Wigh’s top attractions. The annual awards celebrate the courage, bravery and achievements of children, presenting 11 awards which cover various aspects of a child’s life.
In an effort to bolster educational resources and empower the young people of the Isle of Wight, we have recently been working on a collaborative initiative with our local authority's Library Services team. Over the past few months, we've worked hand in hand to deliver a substantial influx of reading materials to libraries across the Island.
The Sophie’s Legacy charity was created in memory of Sophie Fairall, a remarkable young girl who sadly lost her battle with cancer back in 2021. She touched so many lives and, whilst in hospital, wrote a bucket list of wishes that she wanted to be carried out on her behalf. The aim of this list was to improve conditions for children and their families during stays in hospitals.
Every year, the Child of Wight Awards celebrate the courage, bravery and achievements of children across the Isle of Wight. The remarkable event presents 11 awards in total, each of which covers important aspects of a child’s life. In this year's event, ICRTouch is the proud sponsor of the ‘Best Sibling’ award, which recognises the immense love and appreciation siblings have for each other.  
Back in April 2023, ICRTouch made a generous contribution of £2,000 to Wightoak Youth Services. The organisation aims to provide valuable support to young people that come across the charity. Donations received are primarily directed towards facilitating activities that nurture potential future opportunities and create positive memories.
