The Fighting Cocks, Fighting Lockdown!

Positivity in a Pandemic…

The Fighting Cocks are doing a fantastic job, reacting and adapting to the new lockdown restrictions by turning their ByTable app into a takeaway service. Immediately they have switched their efforts to takeaway collection and delivery of meals, local ales and even partnering with other local businesses to capitalise on their delivery service by offering other local produce.

Not only this but their promotional efforts on social media have been great, too. It’s worth having a look at their Facebook page, linked here, and recent posts to see how well they’re engaging with their customers and embracing the changes they’re necessarily having to make by utilising the products and services we provide. The Fighting Cocks’ Facebook posts have been organically reaching over 2000+ people too, talk about free marketing!

Sam, the Managing Director of the pub, tells us they’re launching a Christmas tree delivery and collection service this week through ByTable! It’s efforts like this that showcase what is possible when you are prepared to embrace change, repurpose the technology and products you already have and show a little entrepreneurship, instead of, as Sam puts it ‘letting lockdown happen to us’.
