Silverstone take ICRTouch software installed by Gardiff EPoS

Silverstone is the first post World War II racetrack commissioned by the RAC back in 1948 on the site of a surplus airfield close to the village of Silverstone. Today used for major motorsport events throughout the race season, as well as other sports events and track days and experiences. The venue is fully equipped with shops selling merchandise and bars and hospitality to support each event, and there is even an official onsite campsite.

The robust Gardiff EPoS systems are able to withstand the hammering that comes with race day events. Combine this with ICRTouch TouchPoint and staff are able to rely upon flawless operation when the tills are needed the most, approximately 30,000 sales are performed across the F1 race weekend! The intuitive and efficient TouchPoint software allows staff to quickly and easily process orders, either in the bar or within the merchandise shops. The Sage Pay integrated EFT solution for TouchPoint allows accurate and fast credit card payments, with contactless technology reducing payment times to seconds keeping queues to a minimum.

The management team can easily keep track of sales in real-time throughout an event, and also run historical reports filtered with their own user defined tags to compare week on week sales and stock figures at an incredibly detailed level. All performed through the powerful cloud based TouchOffice Web back office solution. Stock and sales can be reviewed at anytime, from anywhere and order lists generated, or stock transferred from one area to another at a click of a button. The system is so flexible that Gardiff were able to tailor reports to suit the unique way in which Silverstone operate their facilities. TouchOffice Web also allows tills to be reprogrammed with new products as and when required, remotely through live or scheduled edits. Silverstone is a unique venue, where the scale of operations varies from event to event. The management team are able to order and deploy additional tills, peripherals and credit card terminals from Gardiff on a temporary basis at short notice as and when the need arises. Founded in 1888, South Shields Football Club (SSFC) is a professional club located in Tyne and Wear, currently competing in the National League North. The football stadium has a capacity to host 4,000 fans and offers a range of services, including hospitality boxes, bars, food kiosks and a merchandise store.
