The brief - The importance of reliability

In order to process thousands of transactions, the customer needed a fast and easy to use handheld solution, to take drink orders and payment at the same time. It was crucial that the solution was reliable and that the transaction success rate remained high throughout the event, to reduce queues and maintain fast service.

Reliability was a key requirement, as the previously used payment provider’s solution lost connection regularly, resulting in slow service and losing out on numerous sales. PanaEpos have implemented a range of ICRTouch solutions to meet these needs and completely streamline service during the busy music festival.

The solution - Seamlessly integrating robust solutions

After carefully listening to the customer’s needs, PanaEpos have implemented a range of solutions to completely streamline the service at the busy festival. They installed the following solutions:

  • Numerous TouchPoint tills around the event

  •
  • TouchOffice Web cloud-based back office management

  •
  • 72x handheld PocketTouch devices on Dojo A920 payment terminal

  • The solutions were used for 4 weekends in total and with minimal set up, they were ready to use in no time. The PanaEpos team stayed on site as a backup for festival staff in case they had any questions; however,  the training was effortless due to the simple to learn, user-friendly interfaces of the solutions.

The result - Streamlined service thanks to reliable solutions

The robust and reliable solutions have completely streamlined service at Let’s Rock 80s. Over the eight individual weekends, comprising of eighteen events in total, the PocketTouch on Dojo A920 devices processed a whopping 48,000+ transactions with a staggering 99.9998% transaction success rate. The near perfect transaction success rate resulted in minimal disruptions to the workflow, reduced wait times and therefore the reliable service increased customer satisfaction.
