ISO 9001 - Making excellence a habit
After first achieving ISO 9001 accreditation back in 2019, we’re proud to say that ICRTouch has achieved recertification ever since.
In addition to the annual reviews which are completed by bsi, to retain the accreditation, a full recertification process is required every three years to ensure standards are being maintained.
At the start of June 2022 we welcomed our bsi representative to the ICRTouch HQ on the Isle of Wight and, after a full day of auditing, met all the requirements within our quality management system.
This means that we will continue to be accredited until 2025, helping us as a business to continue developing high-quality products.
What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard that can benefit any size of organisation. Designed to be a powerful business improvement tool, it specified requirements when an organisation:
- Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and statutory/regulator requirements.
- Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through effective application of the system, including process for improvement and assurance of conformity.
66% of businesses say the ISO 9001 certification improved their products and services, while 60% say it also reduces the likelihood of mistakes within their organisation.
What difference does it make?
Here at ICRTouch our mission has always been to help customers improve efficiency and productivity within their businesses, by simplifying processes and streamlining operations.
By working hard to achieve and maintain our ISO accreditation, we’re not only leading by example, but it also certifies that all our products are created according to strict quality standards.
The core values of our ISO 9001 processes are to ensure:
- Quality management
- Strong customer focus
- Continual improvement
