ICRTouch recognised as ‘Great Place To Work’

After achieving ‘Great Place To Work’ status last November, we’re delighted to have gone on to achieve status as a ‘Great Place To Work For Wellbeing’ and ‘Great Place To Work In Tech’!

The 2023 UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech™️ list has been launched by Great Place To Work UK, recognising ICRTouch among the list of organisations within the tech industry who are dedicated to supporting their staff.

Now in its sixth year, the Best Workplaces in Tech list celebrates companies adept at developing dynamic, collaborative cultures that serve as a catalyst for innovation and personal growth for all.

100% of our team anonymously reported that when you join ICRTouch, you are made to feel welcome, they can be themselves here, is it a safe place to work, and that they are treated as a full member regardless of their position.

We’re excited to be adding this latest achievement to the Great Place To Work ‘Best Workplaces for Wellbeing’ award we achieved earlier in the year.

The Great Place To Work surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK said:

“The Best Workplaces in Tech™️ list is created using the anonymous feedback collected from employees within the technology industry about their workplace experience. In one of the country’s fastest-growing industries, it’s fantastic to see these tech organisations putting their people strategy at the heart of the business and implementing policies, practices and programmes that sustain an impactful and consistently great employee experience for all.  A huge congratulations to ICRTouch for making one of our most prestigious lists.”

As the footfall picks up, you’ll no doubt experience an increase in incoming orders across various channels, so you might want to consider replacing your outdated order management system to capitalise on this.
A deferred date has been set for the implementation of the new Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act. On 1st October 2024 it is proposed that this Act will make it unlawful for employers to withhold gratuities from their workers and ensure that tips are allocated fairly amongst all staff, including those on zero-hour contracts. Here’s what the new legislation means for the hospitality industry and how it will impact operations.
With hundreds of products and thousands of transactions each day, it can be challenging to identify trends and thoroughly analyse data on how your hospitality business is performing. Without this knowledge, it’s difficult to make intelligent business decisions, which is why a robust management system like TouchOffice Web is a vital asset. It provides a bird’s eye view of operations to ensure you’re managing resources as efficiently as possible heading into the busy summer season.
